SUMMARY:Biotechnology - The Science of the Future
DESCRIPTION:As part of the events celebrating the 20th anniversary of the National Science Library\, students and young scientists are invited to participate in the conference “Biotechnology – Science of the Future.” \nThe conference will provide participants with an opportunity to present their own research and findings\, learn from each other’s experiences\, share recent developments in biotechnology\, and explore opportunities for collaboration and joint research. \nEligibility\nThe conference is open to students enrolled in accredited higher education institutions (Bachelor’s\, Master’s\, and Doctoral programs)\, as well as PhD or early-career researchers. \nConference Topics\nThe conference will cover the following topics: \n\nModern methods of biotechnology and genetic engineering;\nApplications of biotechnology in medicine and pharmacology;\nAgricultural and environmental biotechnology;\nApproaches to mitigating the impact of climate change on the environment;\nThe role of digital technologies in biological research;\nBioethical and legal issues related to the development of biotechnology.\n\nParticipation and Submission Requirements\n\nPresentations must be based on the participant’s own research and research findings.\nParticipation is individual; however\, abstracts may have multiple co-authors.\n\nAbstract Submission Guidelines\n\nLength: No more than 300 words;\nLanguage: Georgian;\nFont: Sylfaen\, 11 pt;\nLine spacing: 1.15;\nAn English translation of the abstract must also be submitted.\n\nSelection and Evaluation\nAll submitted papers will be reviewed by a competent jury. The best papers will be selected for oral presentations\, while some submissions will be selected for poster presentations. Participants will be informed of the selection results and further details by email. \nThe evaluation criteria for conference papers and oral presentations are: \na) Demonstration of the relevance and significance of the topic; \nb) Interpretation and substantiation of the findings. \nConference participants should prepare a 10–15-minute presentation\, either as an oral presentation (PowerPoint may be used) or as a poster presentation. \nImportant Dates\n\nRegistration and abstract submission deadline: October 20 – Registration Form\nJury evaluation: October 27. Results will be communicated to participants by email.\nPresentation submission deadline: November 2\, 18:00\nConference program: The program will be sent to participants on November 3.\nConference date: November 4.\n\nPublication\nAbstracts of participants selected for oral presentations will be compiled and published electronically on openjournals.ge. \nThe three best papers\, selected by the competent jury\, will be published on openscience.ge\, which is integrated with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).

DESCRIPTION:ეროვნული სამეცნიერო ბიბლიოთეკა და ეროვნული სამეცნიერო ბიბლიოთეკის განვითარების ფონდი ღია მეცნიერების პოპულარიზაციისა და ახალგაზრდა მეცნიერთა განვითარების ხელშეწყობის მიზნით ქუინსლენდის უნივერსიტეტის პროექტ-კონკურსს – „თეზისი 3 წუთში” ატარებს. \n\n\n\nპროექტი “თეზისი 3 წუთში“ საქართველოში პირველად 2021 წელს ჩატარდა და ტრადიციად იქცა. იგი დოქტორანტების პრეზენტაციისა და კვლევითი კომუნიკაციის უნარების გაზრდას უწყობს ხელს. \n\n\n\nკონკურსის მონაწილემ ჟიურისა და აუდიტორიის წინ თავისი სადოქტორო კვლევა უნდა წარადგინოს 3 წუთში\, 1 სლაიდით. ამასთან ერთად\, შეზღუდული დროისა და საპრეზენტაციო მასალის გათვალისწინებით\, კვლევის მნიშვნელობისა და შინაარსის ეფექტურად ახსნა მოახერხოს. \n\n\n\nპროექტში მონაწილეობა შეუძლიათ საქართველოს აკრედიტებული უნივერსიტეტების დოქტორანტებს\, რომელთაც განაცხადების მიღების ვადის დამთავრებისთვის\, ჯერ კიდევ არ აქვთ დაცული ხარისხი. \n\n\n\nკონკურსანტებს მოუსმენს და შეაფასებს 3 წევრისგან შემდგარი ჟიური. გამარჯვებულ დოქტორანტებს გადაეცემათ ფულადი პრიზები და სამახსოვრო საჩუქრები: \n\n\n\nსაპრიზო ადგილები: \n\n\n\nI ადგილი – 1500 ლარი (დარიცხული); II ადგილი – 1000 ლარი (დარიცხული); III ადგილი – 500 ლარი (დარიცხული); \n\n\n\nპროექტის წესები: \n\n\n\nპროექტში მონაწილეობისთვის აუცილებელია რეგისტრაცია. \n\n\n\nმოხსენების ხანგრძლივობა არ უნდა აღემატებოდეს 3 წუთს. მონაწილე\, რომელიც ამ დროში ვერ ჩაეტევა\, კონკურსს გამოეთიშება. \n\n\n\nწამზომის ათვლა დაიწყება მაშინ\, როცა მონაწილე საუბარს დაიწყებს; \n\n\n\nსაპრეზენტაციოდ დაგჭირდებათ მხოლოდ ერთი სტატიკური\, PowerPoint-ის სლაიდი (მოძრაობის\, ანიმაციის\, გადასვლის და დამატებითი ტექსტის გარეშე); სლაიდის მოწოდება უნდა მოხდეს რეგისტრაციის გავლისას (სარეგისტრაციო ფორმაში ატვირთვით): სარეგისტრაციო ბმული \n\n\n\nმოხსენებას უნდა ჰქონდეს თხრობის სტილი. \n\n\n\nშეფასების კრიტერიუმები:\n\n\n\nმონაწილეების შეფასება მოხდება წინასწარ შერჩეული კომისიის წევრების მიერ\, ქუინსლენდის უნივერსიტეტის პროექტისთვის შემუშავებული კრიტერიუმების მიხედვით. \n\n\n\n1. მოხსენების აღქმადობა და შინაარსი: \n\n\n\nმოხერხდა თუ არა კვლევის საგნის კონცეფციისა და მნიშვნელობის გადმოცემა\, ტერმინოლოგიის განმარტება. \n\n\n\nმოხერხდა თუ არა მოხსენებით კვლევის შედეგების გავლენისა და მნიშვნელობის ნათლად წარმოჩენა; \n\n\n\nმიყვებოდა თუ არა მოხსენება ლოგიკურ ხაზს; \n\n\n\nიყო თუ არა დისერტაციის თემა\, კვლევის მნიშვნელობა და შედეგების გავლენა აუდიტორიისათვის შესაფერის ენაზე გადმოცემული; \n\n\n\nდაუთმო თუ არა მომხსენებელმა ადეკვატური დრო მოხსენების თითოეულ ელემენტს; \n\n\n\n2. ჩართულობა და კომუნიკაცია: \n\n\n\nგააღვივა თუ არა მონაწილემ თემისადმი ინტერესი; \n\n\n\nმოახერხა თუ არა მომხსენებლმა თავდაჯერებულად\, თანმიმდევრულად და თანაბარი ტემპით თხრობა; \n\n\n\nგააძლიერა თუ არა სლაიდმა მოხსენება და იყო თუ არა პრეზენტაცია გასაგები; \n\n\n\nწარმატებებს გისურვებთ და გელით.
