the National Science Library project – “Infrastructure Development and Integration”.

Event title: Maximizing the Benefits of Repositories for Research Institutions

Event description: This session will explore the benefits of the national repository for research
institutions, focusing on its role in showcasing research outputs and improving visibility. We will show
how repositories can help tracking research results and how it can be embedded in institutional
workflows. The discussion will also highlight how institutions can contribute to the repository’s growth
by recruiting content and supporting its sustainability through policies and engagement.

Event Speaker: The event will be hosted by Milisa Ševkušić, an invited expert within the project – Senior
Librarian of the Serbian Academy of Sciences, member of the repository development team at the
University of Belgrade Computer Centre, and EIFL Open Access Coordinator in Serbia.

The working language of the event is English. After the event, each participant will be sent presentation
slides in Georgian language.

ღონისძიების აღწერა: ღონისძიება განკუთვნილია უმაღლესი საგანმანათლებლო
დაწესებულებებისა და კვლევითი ინსტიტუტების წარმომადგენლებისთვის და შეეხება
რეპოზიტორიუმის გამოყენების სარგებელს სამეცნიერო და კვლევითი
ინსტიტუტებისთვის. განსაკუთრებული ყურადღება დაეთმობა რეპოზიტორიუმების
როლს სამეცნიერო კვლევების შედეგების გავრცელებასა და ხილვადობის
გაუმჯობესებაში. დისკუსია ასევე ხაზს გაუსვამს იმას, თუ როგორ შეუძლიათ უმაღლესი
საგანმანათლებლო დაწესებულებებსა და კვლევით ინსტიტუტებს რეპოზიტორიუმის
ზრდისა და მდგაროდობის მხარდაჭერა.

ღონისძიების სპიკერი: ღონისძიებას გაუძღვება პროექტის ფარგლებში ექსპერტად
მოწვეული მილისა შევკუშიჩი – სერბეთის მეცნიერებათა აკადემიის მთავარი
ბიბლიოთეკარი, ბელგრადის უნივერსიტეტის კომპიუტერული ცენტრის
რეპოზიტორიუმის განვითარების გუნდის წევრი და ორგანიზაციის EIFL ღია წვდომის
კოორდინატორი.
